A Little About SummeReane
We started back in 1998, before then it was known as StarValley Alaskan Malamutes which started in 1998 when I got my first show dog, an Alaskan Malamute "Juneau". We never bred Mals but will ALWAYS love the breed!!!!
We decided to add both my daughters' middle names together to come up with SUMMEREANE (Pronounced: Summer-Rain) no one else is going to use this name SPELLING WISE because my youngest daughters middle name is Reane (Rain) and it's a unique spelling.
We bred Aussies from Dec 2003 until Spring of 2019. LOVE the breed, however, I love Finnish Lapphunds so much more. Their personalities & temperament are out of this world.
We have 3 Smooth Fox Terriers, AKC CH Rock who will turn 11 this Winter and still acts like a 2-year-old. Misa who just turned 7 and Seka who is almost 5. I do not breed them, nor have I ever bred them. They are our loving family pets.
We show in AKC, 4-H, UKC, IABCA and ICE for our conformation titles and we also send our dogs from time to time to Canada to earn their Canadian Championships (CKC).
We do not breed a lot and we do; it is to keep a show puppy for ourselves. We welcome potential show homes, however, strict co-ownerships will be in place and underwritten contracts on a very limited basis.
We prefer to place puppies in active loving pet homes 1st and foremost.
We have imported dogs from Finland & other European countries over the years & will in the future as well.
